It was not their struggle that was sinful, but their testing of the Lord.

The journey of faith will be worth it, but it won’t always be easy.

Exodus is about a war between the gods of Egypt and the Lord and God is working out his plan and accomplishing his purpose. 
The Song of Joy, is a song of joy in response to God’s deliverance and salvation.
